Melesse is a poet and painter who enjoys new garb much more than grinding lapis. A butterfly rancher by trade, she especially enjoys quiet woodland afternoons with a field guide and net close at hand. Her most treasured possession is a piece of bracket fungus painted with tulips and roses. After many years, she still enjoys playing a MUD titled Everdark, as she could never wrap her brain around games with graphics better than Pong. Writer of marginal poetry, perpetrator of various arts, thief of (few/sacred) hearts, lover of lurid catholic objects. By candlelight, nothing but a vixen.
Strengths: Looks best in sepia tones. Occasionally creative.
Weaknesses: Slight addiction to mineral pigments and other expensive art supplies. Easily distracted by butterflies, other winged insects, and catholic kitsch.
Special Skills: Patron Saint of Butterfly Larvae, Stalkers, Sluts and Scribes. Can apply eyeliner while on a train. Can dance on a podium in a nightclub without falling off. Damn tough liver.
Weapons: Witty Repartee, Sarcasm, Camera, Butterflies
Motto: I salute you, not quite stranger. Poets still coast into day on dreams, Drink coffee with the dead, Write letters they never send. -----V. Adair
